Sunset Markets next to Mindil Beach Darwin
The markets run from the last week in April until
the end of October. The market is open on Thursday from 4pm-9pm
and Sunday 4pm to 9pm.
Is there free parking available at the market? Also
as the parking is in an open area it is very easy for large motorhomes
to park- But come about 4.30pm so it's easy to park.

The Mindil Beach Market is nestled against the Mindil Beach and
next to the Mindil
Beach Casino Resort and Darwin Tennis Courts and some 800
metres from our Botantical Gardens.
Around 20 minutes before sunset the folks make there way through
the sand dune pathway (right) to the beach and stand or site with
the 100's of cameras at the ready for one of the most amazing
sunsets they will ever witness.
Oh that crocodile question. I have lived here for
20 years and I have never seen one in the harbour.
No you can't buy alcohol - but currently you can
bring your own alcohol and ice is available at Mindil You can
also rent tables and chairs and enjoy a drink in comfort as so

Parap Village Market in the subarb town square of the inner Darwin
Suburb of Parap
The Parap Village Market is one of Darwin 's longest
running markets, and is considered by many as the ideal meeting
place to meet or to have brekky or a tasty snack together. This
vibrant and colourful market place will enthrall you with its

Situated in the Parap Village Shopping Precinct
off Parap Road the market operates every Saturday of the year
between 8am - 2pm. Parking has recently increased and a car park
on Parap Road is available for gold coin dontation. Toilet facilities

The Food
Is mostly asian and mostly sensational. There is
a large range of finger foods at $2.20 to $3.00 and meal size
for $6.00-8.00. There is such a choice it should satisfy anyone.
Parking is abreeze for 4wd's and motorhomes though
you may consider to go early to get a parking space for such vehicles.
We always go ourselves at 7.30am. Motorhomes can park easily at
the front of the markets or the side street where the roundabout
is in front of the shops there. Parking has recently increased
and a car park on Parap Road is available for gold coin dontation
run by the Darwin Ladies Quota Club - all volunteers so be extra
nice to these folks please.

between 8.00 am - 2.00 pm.

cherish favourites such as our crepe stall. An absolute amazing
selection of foods and a real local hunt. The Parap Village Market
is one of Darwin 's longest running markets is in the inner suburb
of Parap.

The Rapid Creek Sunday Market operates on every
each Sunday of the year from 7:00am - 1:00 pm.
The Rapid Creek Sunday Market specialises in a wide
selection of fruit and vegetables and seafood.
This is a favourite spot for the restaurant's top
chef's to shop at very early on Sunday morning.
Situated on Bagot Road it is half way between Darwin
City and Casuarina Square on that main road.
